A fantastic pendant from the Georgian era (ca1830)!  Made of vibrant 14k yellow gold and carved agate, the pendant has a wonderful 3-dimensional design and depicts the bust of a man. The agate bust has carvings which represent the figure's face, hair, and ribs. The front of the figure is also decorated with small diamonds, rubies, and emeralds, which further add to the overall beauty of the piece. Additionally, atop the figure's head is a curved hat, which is also adorned with rubies and diamonds and doubles as the piece's bail. Surrounding the base of the bust is a gold disc, which features intricate foliage motifs. The bottom of the disc also features a seal, which depicts the side profile of a Romanesque man. A unique pendant, it would make the perfect addition to any collection!

Measurements: The fob hangs a little less than 1 1/2" long, including the bail at the top.

Condition: The overall condition of the fob is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the yellow gold setting or to the seal, which is intact and free of chips or scratches. The agate and all of the stones are intact and secure. The bail for hanging is securely attached.
